I am looking for a Founders Associate Intern to join me as my right hand at cardis.io ⁠⁠VC-funded MedTech, work with CEO + CSO (Ex-SAP & Ex-Merck) & me (Chief of Staff, >5 years VC) Tasks: Support with scaling of int. ops, German market and internationalisation to UK and Spain -> from 1k to 10k customers ⁠⁠We are establishing a new standard of care for heart diagnostics at primary care level Start: As soon as possible, min. duration 4 months, apply anytime Fluency in German & English necessary. Tuesday-Thursday in office in Essen. CV is sufficient; no need for a motivation letter.

⁠⁠We are a medtech startup establishing a new standard of care for heart diagnostics at primary care level. We detect the majority of heart diseases with >90% accuracy in 5-10 minutes.

Candidate's Responsibilities

Supporting the leadership team on strategic and operational matters in day-to-day business
Contributing to cross-functional special projects with a focus on execution, structuring, and follow-through
Preparing analyses, decision papers, briefings, and presentations for internal and external use
Supporting the further development of internal processes and operational workflows
Working across topics in Sales, Operations, and Internationalization
Preparing, structuring, and operationally supporting key projects at leadership level
Taking independent ownership of clearly scoped workstreams with real responsibility from day one

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable field
First relevant practical experience, e.g. in Venture Capital, Private Equity, consulting, a startup, Business Development, or an analytically driven environment
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in German and English
Analytical, structured, and independent working style
High execution orientation and pragmatic thinking
Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in a fast-moving, still-being-built environment
