M&A AI startup is looking for technical Co-founder

Nebula Capital AI is building an AI-native M&A platform for SME succession in the German-speaking region (DACH). It takes the sale of a small company — the kind of family business with no successor — from valuation all the way to a binding offer, mostly automated. It's a real, underserved market, and there's no agentic player in it yet. The founder covers the finance and M&A side and is now looking for a technical co-founder to own the technical half of the company and build the agentic product from the ground up.

Candidate's Responsibilities

- Own the technical vision and architecture of the company end-to-end.
- Design and build the first working AI agent in the workflow — an automated business-valuation engine that converts a seller's financials into a credible company valuation.
- Ship a production-grade MVP and get it in front of real sellers, then iterate toward the full platform.
- Shape the product and engineering direction alongside the founder — no layers, lean and fast — and lay the foundation for the future technical team.

Requirements

- Have shipped software end-to-end (not just coursework).
- Have built real agentic / LLM systems — RAG, orchestration, evals — not just used ChatGPT.
- Master's or PhD-level builder, ideally 5+ years of IT/coding experience.
- Want true ownership and are ready to commit to building a company as a co-founder.
